Are you an automotive parts interpreter or purchasing officer with warehouse experience?

We seek a person experienced in the automotive industry to undertake the following new role:

  • Assist with developing and implementing procurement and warehouse systems and procedures, and then run them.
  • Support our project managers and supervisors by sourcing and procuring often 'unobtanium' components for 1900s to 1980s vehicles.
  • Manage goods inwards, and despatch goods inter-workshop and to sub-contractors.
  • Catalogue, store, and retrieve from storage components from vehicles disassembled in our workshops.
  • Pick items from storage for work-orders.

About the Business

Finch Restorations is Australia's oldest car restoration business and is still growing. We have four workshop sites in Mount Barker where we carry out restorations. In Woodside we have a fifth site where we undertake automotive repairs and servicing. Mount Barker and Woodside are both in the Adelaide Hills just 20 minutes up the South-Eastern Freeway from the Old Tollgate.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Experience as an automotive parts interpreter and/or purchasing officer with warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Good understanding of procurement and warehouse systems and procedures.
  • Be accurate, diligent, and systems-focussed.
  • Have good computer literacy.
  • Have experience with classic and/or vintage cars, trucks or motorcycles.
