Finch Restorations has been restoring and preserving significant vehicles since 1965. As Australia’s oldest vehicle restoration business, we work on vehicles ranging from early motoring history through to modern classics.
As we expand at our new Hindmarsh flagship site, minutes from the Adelaide CBD, we are always interested in hearing from skilled people who may suit current or future opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For
We welcome expressions of interest from people with skills in areas such as:
- Mechanics: Classic cars, heritage trucks, motorcycles, engines, drivelines, braking systems, steering, suspension, servicing, repair, assembly, and commissioning.
- Automotive Electricians: Wiring, diagnostics, charging systems, starting systems, lighting, instruments, accessories, loom repairs, and older vehicle electrical systems.
- Panel Beaters / Coachbuilders: Rust repair, panel fabrication, metal shaping, body repair, chassis repair, welding, metal finishing, and restoration bodywork.
- Motor Trimmers / Upholsterers: Seats, carpets, interior trim, soft tops, tonneaus, leather, vinyl, canvas, and period-correct automotive interiors.
- Automotive Spray Painters: Preparation, refinishing, restoration paintwork, colour matching, and careful finishing work.
- Machinists / Fabricators / Engineers: Component repair, remanufacturing, machining, fabrication, adaptation, and practical problem-solving.
- Parts, Stores, Workshop Support, and Coordination: Parts interpretation, cataloguing, scheduling, purchasing, documentation, quality control, and workshop logistics.

- You enjoy varied work and unusual problems.
- You communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
- You have Australian work rights, including Australian citizenship, permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship, or a valid visa with permission to work in Australia.
