Finch Restorations is Australia's premier vehicle restoration firm. We specialise in the complete body-off, ground-up restoration of Veteran to Modern-Classic era (1890-1990) cars, trucks, and motor-cycles.
We have a team of highly experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of all aspects of the restoration process. Our workshops are equipped with the technologies, tools, and equipment to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
Celebrating six decades of excellence, we are excited to expand our team at our new flagship site near Adelaide, dedicated to restoring the glory of classic, prestige, and vintage vehicles for the future generations.
Our New Branch
We are establishing a new flagship branch within 15 minutes of the Adelaide CBD. A two stage process, we are currently establishing our Paint Shop in stage one. Stage two incorporates areas for restorations, repairs and maintenance, Trim Shop, and concierge vehicle storage.
This role will require being based in our Mount Barker branch for the first 4-6 months, for induction and training purposes, before subsequent transition to the new branch.
The Role: Service Receptionist / Front of House Manager
As we venture into a new chapter of growth, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Service Receptionist / Front of House Manager to join our team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Be the welcoming face of Finch Motor Company, ensuring every customer receives a warm and professional reception.
- Customer Inquiries: Handle customer inquiries, providing information about our services, pricing, and processes. Direct inquiries to the relevant team member, department, or branch.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as invoicing, data-entry, photo wrangling, record-keeping, and maintaining customer records. Data entry into SharePoint, ERP, and CRM systems. Develop office processes, procedures, structures, and systems and proactively drive continuous improvement in them.
- Logistics: Organize the transport of goods, vehicles, and components.
- Events: Coordinate events, including attendance at trade shows and internal company functions.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with our service team to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.
- Front of House Management: Oversee the organisation and cleanliness of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
About You
Your skills and attributes include:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing automotive role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications and office software.
- Experience as a technician, service advisor, parts interpreter, or purchasing officer would be well regarded.
- Passion for classic and vintage cars is a plus.
Language
- Professional working proficiency in speaking 'Car' terminology is a plus.
