Finch Restorations is Australia's oldest and largest car restoration business, still growing and thriving. Our multi-skilled team works on classic cars, trucks, motorcycles from around the world, spanning 1900-1990.

We currently operate two branches in the Adelaide Hills, just 20 minutes up the South-Eastern Freeway from the Old Tollgate. The new branch, located only fifteen minutes from the Adelaide CBD, is anticipated to open to the public in the fourth quarter of 2024. As we embark on this exciting journey of growth, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Service Receptionist / Front of House Manager to join our team. The role will initially be based at our main office in Mount Barker and, after a few months, relocate to the new flagship site.

Position: Service Receptionist / Front of House Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence: Be the welcoming face of Finch Motor Company, ensuring every customer receives a warm and professional reception.
  • Customer Inquiries: Handle customer inquiries, providing information about our services, pricing, and processes. Direct inquiries to the relevant team member, department, or branch.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as invoicing, data-entry, photo wrangling, record-keeping, and maintaining customer records. Data entry into SharePoint, ERP, and CRM systems. Develop office processes, procedures, structures, and systems and proactively drive continuous improvement in them.
  • Logistics: Organize the transport of goods, vehicles, and components.
  • Events: Coordinate events, including attendance at trade shows and internal company functions.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with our service team to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.
  • Front of House Management: Oversee the organisation and cleanliness of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing automotive role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and office software.
  • Experience as a technician, service advisor, parts interpreter, or purchasing officer would be well regarded.
  • Passion for classic and vintage cars is a plus.

Language

  • Professional working proficiency in speaking 'Car' terminology is a plus.
