Introduction to Metal-Shaping Techniques & Principles (The Basics)
Learning Objective:
At the conclusion of this lesson, participants will be able to:
- Produce comprehensive templates and patterns as a basis for replicating complex shapes.
- Define and recognise different shapes and their variations.
- Perform multiple manual shrinking and stretching techniques and locate their application.
Pre-Requisites:
No prior training or experience is needed, though you will need practical hands-on aptitude.
You will need to purchase and bring/wear your own:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Metal-Shaping Tool Set*
- Marking-Out Items*
- Starter Round Drift Punch Set*

- Shape a section of a quarter panel with wheel arch on wheeling machine with use of tree stump, bench heads and hand tools.
