About Finch Restorations

Founded by Ray Finch in 1965, Finch Restorations are award-winning veteran, vintage, post-vintage, classic car, truck and motorcycle restoration experts. We perform complete body-off, ground-up restorations and then perform vehicle re-assembly, set-to-work and testing. Using original factory specifications and time aged methods, we meet the highest levels of quality and authenticity. Finch Restorations is also known for building the 1939 SS100 (Jaguar), Jaguar C-Type, Jaguar D-Type, Specials, and 1959 Ferrari Testa Rossa replicas.

We are known for our friendly, approachable manner and high standard of work. We take pride in all our customer’s projects.

About the Role

If you are passionate about classic cars and the art of true craftsmanship, if you have nationally recognised trade qualifications and experience as a technician repairing, restoring or remanufacturing pre-1980s (pre-computer age and pre-plastic) cars, trucks and motorcycles, then we are keen to hear from you.

Finch Restorations can offer great opportunities for the right craftsperson with the right experience, skills and attitude to make their mark as a restorer and remanufacturer of great and historical vehicles. The role is responsible for performing stripping, repairing, rebuilding, panel beating, metal shaping, component installation, assembly and testing of predominantly pre-1980s cars, trucks and motorcycles.

The role is offered as a full-time casual position with potential to become permanent. Applicants only seeking a part-time position will also be considered.
