This 1914 Hispano-Suiza Roadster Type 26 James Flood Sports Roadster won its class at the 2003 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California.

Arrived at Finch is another exciting project from Victoria - the restoration and hand-building of a new bespoke body for this Packard Speedster Special.

1930 Thornycroft A1 Truck

A slight change of pace from many of the projects and restorations we do, this Thornycroft truck was designated to be a museum piece from project start. Owned by the same family business for nearly a century, the 1930 Thornycroft A1 truck is one of only a handful ever brought to Australia from its native England.

1932 MG F2 Magna

The MG F-type Magna is a rare machine, with just 1250 examples built across three models, of which only 40-odd were roadsters. This example came to us with bent, rusty chassis members and a heavily oxidised aluminium body, but scarcity and prestige ensured it was well-worth saving.

It is not that often that you will meet a car that has been in the same family for nine decades. When we first received a call about this lovely 1933 Dodge Tourer, we were immediately interested to learn about its long lineage in New South Wales.

This is a rare TJR coupe-style utility. It was initially built by TJ Richards Dodge coachbuilders in South Australia and later rediscovered in Mt Kosciuszko and returned to Adelaide some years ago.

This project is the 'resto-mod' (restoration-modification) of a 1948 Jaguar 3½ Litre ‘Mark IV’ saloon. The owner in Victoria is looking for a comfortable and reliable daily driver and highway cruiser to complement his collection of authentic Jaguar vehicles.

This Rolls Royce Silver Dawn was the subject of two projects at Finch Restorations. The body and paint work was undertaken in 2008, and mechanical assembly of the running gear in 2015.

Sent to us from the proprietor of a luxury car dealership in Spain, was this photo of a car built by Finch Restorations for sale in their showrooms.

1959 Jaguar Mk2

This 1959 Mk2 Jaguar was the 59th Mk2 3.4 Litre built. The car is owned by Chris, a prominent South Australian wine-maker. In the late 1980s, Chris' wife had a scary accident when the brakes failed while she was driving the Mk2 through their local town.

The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa (250 TR), introduced at the end of the 1957 racing season, marked a pivotal moment in automotive history. Adapting to the new rules of the Le Mans and World Sports Car Championships in 1958, which limited engine displacements to 3 litres, Ferrari embarked on a journey of continuous innovation.

For this FJ40, Finch performed rust repairs and painted the chassis, body and panels. Our client had previously dismantled the Landcruiser and delivered the body, chassis, and loose panels to us. After completing our scope, our client collected the completed items and will proceed to rebuild the FJ40 himself.
